Can one choice define who you are?

Oh, you want an introduction?  Let me tell you three lies I tell you in my story; then, you can just assume about my moral character from there.  First: I will truthfully tell you my story, no skipping, no flourishing, no heroizing.  (only that last part is true).  Second: I have a secret.  (How boring to have only one.  Of course, I have a multitude.)  Lastly, I am of no importance in the prophecy you may have heard of.  (For further explanation of this one, look no further than the first and final lines.)  So, are you willing to spend enough time with me to hear my story?  If not, kindly return this book to whatever hidden place you stole it from.  If you are brash enough to think you are ready. I have only two words for you.

You’re lying.

Soon to be available on Amazon.

Glenn Gentrey

One Kingdom. Two Sides. A war on the way.

“Do you know what happens to the chess pieces after the game?” he asked, not looking at me.

“They go back in the box?”  I guessed.

He nodded and slid the pawn and the king into their slots side-by-side.  “The king is powerful, but only on the board.  So often, players sacrifice their pawns just to protect the king.  But win or lose, they both go back in the same box.”

I looked up at him, confused.  “What are you trying to say?”

He looked up at me.  “I’m saying that sooner or later, you’ll realize which piece you are, and by then, it’ll be too late to make a move; you’ll be back in the box.”  He shut the box with a snap and fastened the clasp.

KAM KOVAH

Bury the Forsaken.

All Kam has ever known are the same sands and shores of his small island, where all the same people live, breathe and die. Life was simple and invariably routine. But now, the winds of change have started to blow Eztenburg’s traditions into the past. The township is leaving behind everything Kam’s people once valued.

When is it time to stop fighting change and embrace the future?

As he struggles to uncover the buried secrets of the town he thought he knew, he will uncover how far loyalties truly lie. With the help of an unlikely aid, Kam discovers the truth behind a multi-generation scheme to bury secrets, forsake history’s lessons, and silence anyone who gets in the way. All of these discoveries leave him asking one question: Does the past really repeat itself?

About Grace

Grace lives in the small town of Sparta, Tennessee. Her current adventures include graduating from White County High School and getting her Bachelor’s. When she is not writing, she enjoys cooking and being with her friends and family.

“I am convinced that poets are toddlers in a cathedral, slobbering on wooden blocks and piling them up in the light of the stained glass. We can hardly make anything beautiful that wasn’t beautiful in the first place. We aren’t writers, but gleeful rearrangers of words whose meanings we can’t begin to know. When we manage to make something pretty, it’s only so because we are ourselves a flourish on a greater canvas.”

— Andrew Peterson, author of Adorning the Dark

We Met In The Fog

The Fog Saga is structured slightly different from your average fantasy series. The reader needs no prior knowledge to read each book. Books one through four do not hinge on the previous book. Each of the first four books focuses on the title character and ends with the same sentence: We met in the fog. The last book, where the series gets its name, will pick up where the first four left off. Fall in love with each character before they are all thrown together in the series's final installment.

Four teenagers live separate lives in different cities, families, and cultures. Each of them wrestles with the life that has been handed to them. Cole longs to escape with Lyla to Rolling Acres, where all warrants for his arrest will become void. Kam wants to be free from his stifling community and discover why their history is buried behind so many lies. Glenn's only desire is to get far away from Leangap, and all the traditions thrust upon her. Jace wants to be free from society's judgment. As fate would have it, they will come to play an irreversible role in each other's lives. Can they choose to save the world and themselves or destroy the world as they know it?
